SAFETY AWARDS ...Excellence in Operations !!

Yonkers Industries has long been recognized as a leader in safety and 2009 was no exception. Earlier this year, Yonkers received four different certificates from the North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL ) for outstanding achievement in the area of safety.

Those awards included:

NCDOL Certificate of Special Recognition for One Million Employee Hours with no injuries or illness that resulted in lost workdays
NCDOL Certificate of Safety Achievement: First Year Gold at the Becton-Dickinson site in Wilson, NC
OSHA Star VPP Certificate of Special Recognition: Second Consecutive Year Gold at the Merck-VMF 102 site in Durham, NC
NCDOL Certificate of Special Recognition: Second Consecutive Year Gold at the Eisai Inc. Project Gateway in Research Triangle Park
